Legendary DJ Fatboy Slim, whose real name is Norman Cook, recently showcased his physique in a throwback magazine photo shared by his son, Woody.
Cook, who turned 63 last month, was featured shirtless on the October 2000 cover of Mixmag magazine. The cover line read: "Want some Fatboy? Tanned, rested and ready Norman's back in the ring."
Woody shared the resurfaced image on Instagram as a birthday tribute to his father, writing, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD. You’re an alright DJ, but a much better Dad. Thank you for giving birth to me."
Earlier this week, Cook was seen in a different presentation, donning a costume of a giant pack of fish and chips for a performance at Bestival in Dorset. He performed his set and engaged with the crowd, including blowing an airhorn on the festival's final day.
Cook and his ex-wife, Zoe Ball, share two children: Woody, 25, and Nelly, 16. Despite their divorce in 2016, the couple have maintained a close friendship. Cook has spoken about their ability to remain good friends and co-parents as a significant achievement.
"Our triumph is to remain really good friends and parents, even though we're not a couple anymore," Cook said in June on the Begin Again podcast with Davina McCall. "It was a bit awkward at first, but then we got this rhythm where… we're probably actually better than we were when we were a couple."
He added that while marriage can end in divorce, parenthood is a lifelong commitment. "You sign on to be parents, that's for life," he stated.
