Emma Willis Reunites With Jamie Miller Years After 'The Voice' Audition as His Song Hits UK No. 1

Emma Willis recently reunited with Welsh singer Jamie Miller on the set of "Strictly Come Dancing," marking a decade since his audition for "The Voice UK." Miller's song "Babydoll" recently achieved the number one spot on the UK charts, a milestone he celebrated with a performance on the "Strictly" results show alongside collaborator Antonio Cipriano.

Miller, 29, first appeared on "The Voice" in 2017 at the age of 19, reaching the final under the mentorship of Jennifer Hudson. Willis, who was a host on the show at the time, shared her pride in Miller's journey on Instagram.

"Then and now… I first met Jamie back in October 2016 when he came to Manchester to audition for The Voice with his lovely family," Willis wrote. "He was the sweetest, most well-mannered kid who got up on stage and gave it absolutely everything. Even then, you could see how much it meant to him and just how determined and passionate he was."

She continued, "Fast forward 10 years and here we are again, reunited on @bbcstrictly, with his wonderful family, as always, by his side. Jamie has worked his a*** off over the last decade, grafting away, taking every opportunity and never giving up. That determination, resilience and tenacity have served him well, and to see him now, getting his moment and the recognition he deserves, makes me absolutely overjoyed!"

Willis concluded her post by emphasizing Miller's continued humility: "He's still that lovely lad I met all those years ago, it genuinely couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.. Go get 'em, Jamie. You wholeheartedly deserve every second."

In other "Strictly Come Dancing" news, former England footballer Shaun Wright-Phillips was the fourth celebrity eliminated from the competition. He and his professional partner Alexis Warr were eliminated after a dance-off against actress Jaime Winstone. Judges criticized Wright-Phillips's performance, with Craig Revel Horwood calling it "a disaster." Wright-Phillips acknowledged making mistakes during the routine.

The show also saw Olympian Tabby Stoecker and Mark Karmalita top the leaderboard with 37 points for their Couple's Choice dance, earning the series' first 10s from judges Anton Du Beke and Motsi Mabuse. Australian singer Delta Goodrem returned to the dance floor after a rib injury, scoring 34 points for her rumba with Kai Widdrington. Last week, former Paralympic cyclist Dame Sarah Storey and her partner Julian Caillon became the third couple to be voted out.
