Emma Watson recently made a rare public appearance at the star-studded Lucas Museum of Narrative Art gala in Los Angeles. The 36-year-old actress donned a black velvet minidress embroidered with floral detailing, complemented by matching heels.

Inside the event, Watson was seen mingling with fellow attendees, including Cynthia Erivo, Lilly Singh, and Janelle Monáe. Erivo, 39, wore a strapless black velvet gown with a voluminous skirt.

The gala, hosted by museum founders George Lucas and Mellody Hobson, drew a crowd of celebrities, including Kim Kardashian, Eva Longoria, and Katy Perry, ahead of the museum's public opening on Tuesday. The museum is located in Exposition Park and spans 300,000 square feet, with an estimated cost of $1.5 billion.

Watson's appearance marks one of her first public outings since the Venice Film Festival. Prior to that, she was seen on holiday in Saint-Tropez, France, and earlier in June, she was observed in Oxford with a new companion.

He told Times Radio that his approach involved keeping her life as normal as possible and ensuring she continued with her schoolwork, admitting that while her homework was delivered by motorbike, it was still a requirement. He also mentioned that not being a frequent movie watcher at home helped in keeping her grounded.

The new Harry Potter series has cast Dominic McLaughlin as Harry, Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger, and Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley. Filming for the series began in June in France, with reports suggesting that a scene re-creating Hagrid's iconic "You're a wizard, Harry!" line is being shot off the coast of Brittany.
