Ellie Goulding Praises Boyfriend Beau Minniear as 'Kindest Guy' in Social Media Post
The singer shared a video of her boyfriend, highlighting his physical fitness and calling him 'fascinating' beyond his appearance.
Singer Ellie Goulding recently expressed her admiration for her boyfriend, Beau Minniear, describing him as the "kindest guy she's ever known" in a social media post.
Goulding, 39, shared a shirtless video of Minniear, 29, on Monday, playfully remarking on his physique before emphasizing his character. "Jokes aside this is the least interesting thing about him," she commented. "He's the kindest guy I've ever known and the most fascinating."
The couple began dating in 2025, and welcomed their daughter, Iris, in March of this year. Goulding was first linked to Minniear in July of the previous year and publicly confirmed their relationship in September 2025.
Earlier this year, Goulding discussed balancing her music career with motherhood. She noted the importance of her support system, including Minniear, as she continued working and writing songs throughout her pregnancy. "I have an amazing boyfriend. I do have it a little easier in that I do have amazing support," she stated prior to giving birth. "I'm still working every day and still writing every day."
In October 2026, Goulding released her sixth studio album, "I Know Too Much." The album features tracks reflecting on her past relationships, including one about her divorce from art dealer Caspar Jopling, from whom she finalized her divorce in January 2025.
She also dedicated a song to her current romance with Minniear. "4 Seasons" details a romantic trip to a Florence hotel early in their relationship, with lyrics expressing nascent feelings of love. The album also includes "Black Prada Dress," which Goulding has described as a necessary acknowledgment of past experiences.
Recently, Goulding addressed a fan page's "anti LGBTQ+" comments, publicly calling out the account for its remarks. She stated on X, formerly Twitter, "Girl, no thank you. We don’t tolerate any anti LGBTQ+ in the fandom. I know you are better than this." Her response garnered praise from fans for her stance.
