Dua Lipa Wins Legal Battle Against Hong Kong Merchant Selling Unauthorized Merchandise

Pop superstar Dua Lipa has successfully concluded a legal dispute against a Hong Kong-based individual selling unauthorized merchandise bearing her name. The singer, estimated to be worth £150 million, secured a favorable ruling from the United Nations' World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), which ordered the transfer of the domain name 'dualipa-asiastore.com' to her firm.

The unauthorized venture included items such as clothing, canvas bags, and headwear. WIPO determined that the domain name was being used in "bad faith."

This legal victory comes as Lipa's financial success continues to grow. Her latest company records reveal that she earned an average of £64,000 daily last year. Her media company, Radical22 Ltd, which she established in 2014 with her father and manager Dukagjin, is valued at £73 million and brought in £23.4 million in earnings from music, royalties, touring, and merchandise sales. Another of her businesses, Radical22 Live, which handles touring finances, reported a net profit of £6.2 million in 2025 from her 81-date worldwide Radical Optimism Tour, which grossed £162 million.

Lipa, 31, recently shared details about her wedding to Callum Turner, describing their ceremony as "magical." The couple had a legal ceremony in London followed by a larger celebration in Italy. She emphasized the importance of staying connected with her partner throughout the day, stating, "to keep finding each other throughout the crowd, never losing sight of one another. That way, we created so many memories together."

Discussing her work-life balance, Lipa noted her ability to manage professional ambitions with personal life, attributing this in part to her supportive relationship with Turner. "I've never put my ambition aside, and I'm fortunate to be with someone who loves working as much as I do. We understand and support each other," she said.

Her personal happiness may also influence her songwriting, as she expressed a desire to explore themes beyond heartbreak. "It's easier to write love songs when your heart is broken because heartbreak is such a powerful, loud emotion. But now I want to discover what happens when you truly find love. I'm interested in the complexities of a relationship - its quieter moments, the little things," Lipa explained.
