Dua Lipa Makes Stylish Debut as Curator at London Literature Festival
The pop star showcased high fashion from Chanel, Prada, and Schiaparelli while hosting literary events.
The London Literature Festival saw an unexpected blend of high fashion and literary discourse as pop star Dua Lipa hosted events at the Royal Festival Hall. Lipa, serving as guest curator for the festival, transformed the stage into a runway with a series of designer ensembles.
On Saturday, Lipa appeared in a red wool Chanel dress from Matthieu Blazy's autumn/winter 2026 collection, paired with £1,236 stilettos from Le Silla.
Later that day, she transitioned to an outfit from Prada's autumn 2026 collection, featuring a black camisole top (£630) and a matching skirt (£860). This ensemble was completed with floral knee-high socks (£1,143) and white feathered shoes retailing for £1,836.
On Sunday, Lipa interviewed musician and author Patti Smith, opting for an embellished blouse from Schiaparelli's spring/summer 2027 collection, paired with loose black trousers.
Lipa, who runs a book club called Service95, shared personal anecdotes about her relationship with husband Callum Turner, revealing that their connection was sparked by a shared love for the novel "Trust" by Hernán Díaz. She recounted how Turner jokingly remarked, "So we're on the same page," when they discovered they had finished the same section of the book.
The singer also reflected on her recent marriage, describing her wedding day as magical and emphasizing the importance of staying connected. She noted that her songwriting may evolve from heartbreak-inspired themes to exploring the complexities of a happy relationship, stating her interest in the "quieter moments" of love.
