Dua Lipa Debuts Daring Top Made Entirely of Buttons
The singer showcased a unique, avant-garde creation by Lou de Bètoly on Instagram.
Dua Lipa has once again pushed fashion boundaries with her latest ensemble: a halter top meticulously crafted from approximately 740 collected buttons. The singer shared images of the striking garment on her Instagram account, highlighting the intricate design.
The avant-garde top, designed by Lou de Bètoly, features an open-weave mesh base adorned with a multitude of blue buttons arranged in an ombré effect. De Bètoly shared on Instagram that the piece was "crocheted with 740 collected buttons."
Lipa paired the unique top with black trousers and accessorized with an 18K rose gold Bulgari Serpenti Seduttori watch, valued at $39,800, and several stacked rings. The singer's caption for the post stated, "London, very briefly."
This bold fashion choice is consistent with Lipa's history of daring looks. She has previously embraced trends like the exposed thong, worn a completely see-through crystal mesh dress to the 2023 Barbie premiere, and sported a sequined dress with dramatic side cutouts.
The London appearance followed a trip to Italy, where Lipa was seen attending the opera in a black gown by Ashi Studio. This summer, Lipa married Callum Turner in a Chanel Haute Couture gown, followed by a honeymoon getaway in Italy.
