Disney Cruise Line Unveils New Ship, 'Disney Believe,' Featuring 'Encanto' Musical
The newest Disney Cruise Line ship, set to debut in December 2027, will offer themed dining, entertainment, and staterooms inspired by popular Disney and Pixar films.
The Disney Cruise Line will welcome its newest ship, Disney Believe, which is scheduled to begin sailing from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on December 18, 2027. The cruise line announced Wednesday that the ship's maiden voyage will include a four-night journey to the Bahamas and a five-night itinerary to the Western Caribbean.
Disney Believe will be distinguished by the first-ever live musical production of the Walt Disney Animation Studios film "Encanto." The show will follow Mirabel's journey, featuring hit songs like "We Don't Talk About Bruno" and "Surface Pressure." This is in addition to other stage shows, including "Tangled: The Musical" and "Disney Seas the Adventure."
The ship's Grand Hall will be themed after Disney's "Moana," with a statue of Moana and characters Pua and Heihei. Staterooms will feature artwork inspired by "Moana," as well as Pixar's "Coco" and Disney's "The Lion King."
Further entertainment options include Gazelle, a venue inspired by "Zootopia" offering adult-only nighttime entertainment, and the Wishing Well, a gathering space themed after "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs." The ship will also include Disney's Oceaneer Club, It's a Small World Nursery, and dedicated spaces for older children and teens like Edge, Vibe, and The Hideaway.
Dining options on Disney Believe will include Oaken's Table, a "Frozen"-inspired family restaurant, and Sea Notes, a piano lounge with a "The Little Mermaid" theme. The ship will also feature Café Kakamora, inspired by "Moana," and Big Hero Sips, a nod to "Big Hero 6." Skygazers, a pub designed as a magical observatory, will also be available, along with Inside Out: Joyful Sweets, a confectionary.
Returning favorites will include the Haunted Mansion Parlor bar, the fine dining establishments Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement, and The Rose lounge.
Disney Believe is the fourth ship in the Wish class, joining the Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, and Disney Destiny.
