Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 Premieres October 30 on Paramount+

The second season of Dexter: Resurrection is set to premiere on Friday, October 30, at 3:01 a.m. ET for Paramount+ Premium subscribers. The series, which follows the vigilante serial killer Dexter, marks a return for the franchise after the conclusion of Dexter: New Blood in 2021.

Paramount+ Premium includes access to all Showtime Originals, including Dexter: Resurrection. The series is not currently available for Paramount+ Essential subscribers. Those seeking to watch the new season on Showtime can tune in for the premiere episode, titled “Risky Business,” on Sunday, November 1, at 8:00 p.m. ET.

The season opener finds Dexter struggling to find purpose as his son, Harrison, begins his career with the NYPD. Meanwhile, a new murderer emerges, creating fear across the city.

Returning cast members include Uma Thurman, Jack Alcott, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Kadia Saraf, Dominic Fumusa, Desmond Harrington, and James Remar. Michael C. Hall reprises his role as Dexter.

New additions to the cast for the second season include Bokeem Woodbine and Nona Parker Johnson. Original Dexter actor Desmond Harrington, who played Quinn, has been promoted to a series regular. The season will also feature Brian Cox as the New York Ripper and Dan Stevens as the Five Borough Killer. The second season will consist of ten episodes, with the season finale scheduled for January 1, 2027.

Paramount+ Premium is available for $13.99 per month or $139.99 annually. While Paramount+ does not directly offer a free trial, subscribers can access the service through Amazon Prime Video, which provides a free trial of Paramount+ Premium. Additionally, Paramount+ can be added to Hulu or purchased through YouTube, both of which also offer free trial options.
