Christina Aguilera Celebrates 25th Anniversary of "Lady Marmalade" with Charlotte Tilbury Campaign

Christina Aguilera is revisiting a significant moment in her career, celebrating the 25th anniversary of her iconic cover of "Lady Marmalade." The hit song, featured in the 2001 film Moulin Rouge and performed by Aguilera alongside Mya, Pink, and Lil' Kim, has inspired the latest Christmas campaign for Charlotte Tilbury's beauty brand.

The campaign aims to capture the theatricality and showgirl glamour of Aguilera's "Lady Marmalade" moment, reimagining it within Charlotte Tilbury's "Hollywood Holiday Wonderland." The collaboration sees Aguilera and Tilbury dancing to the iconic track, celebrating its enduring legacy and encouraging individuals to embrace their own spotlight.

"I was so excited when I got the call from Charlotte asking me to star in her holiday campaign – they are always such an amazing celebration of glamour, joy and beauty," Aguilera stated. "I've used Charlotte's products for years, so getting to work together on this campaign was so much fun and so special."

Aguilera noted that Tilbury's vision for the campaign, which blends Old Hollywood glamour with burlesque and showgirl energy, resonated with her as an artist. "Performance and transformation have always been such a big part of who I am as an artist, so it felt very natural," she said. "Revisiting Lady Marmalade 25 years later made this collaboration even more special. There's so much nostalgia in the campaign, everything's been reimagined in Charlotte's world in such a playful, glamorous way."

For the festive campaign, Christina slipped into a low-cut cream sequinned minidress while displaying Charlotte's most famous products

Charlotte Tilbury expressed her admiration for Aguilera, stating, "Christina embodies that belief completely: she is fearless, magnetic and unapologetically herself. This campaign is about celebrating the STAR in EVERYONE, EVERYWHERE – giving you the confidence to turn up the glamour, express yourself, gift glow and step into the spotlight."

The campaign also features supermodel Jasmine Tookes and Bella Tilbury. This is the latest in a series of high-profile festive advertisements for Charlotte Tilbury, which last year featured Celine Dion.

Christina famously sang a cover of Lady Marmalade alongside Mya, Pink and Lil'Kim, which would appear in the 2001 film Moulin Rouge

Aguilera's personal life, including her engagement to Matthew Rutler since 2010, was also mentioned, with her previously stating in 2015 that she was not in a rush to marry due to new homeownership and the birth of her child. She also praised Rutler for his dedication as a parent and his work in business.
