Chris Appleton, known for his work with high-profile celebrities including Kim Kardashian, recently took time for a vacation on a luxury yacht in Italy with his daughter, Kitty-Blue. The 43-year-old hairstylist was seen showcasing his physique in white swimming shorts near Capri, engaging in activities like jet skiing, as he enjoyed downtime before commencing rigorous training for the upcoming season of "Strictly Come Dancing."

Appleton will be training a minimum of 12 hours per week for the popular BBC dance competition. He was accompanied by his 21-year-old daughter, Kitty-Blue, whom he shares with his former partner Katie Katon. The couple also have a son, Billy, aged 23. Appleton shared a moment with his children on social media, captioning a photo, "The best chapter of my life has always been these 2. Couldn't think of a better way to spend Father's Day."

He was announced as the fourth contestant to join the "Strictly Come Dancing" lineup, following earlier reveals of singer Delta Goodrem, Love Islander Dani Dyer, and actress Lacey Turner. The news was officially shared on the show's social media channels.

Appleton, recognized by Vogue UK as a 'Hair Star,' has styled hair for numerous covers and features in major publications such as Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, and Vanity Fair. His celebrity client list also includes Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, and Katy Perry. He is also the author of the memoir "Your Roots Don't Define You," which appeared on The New York Times Best Sellers list.

"I'm thrilled to be joining Strictly Come Dancing and coming home to the UK for this incredible experience," Appleton stated about joining the show. "I may know my way around a salon floor, but the dance floor is a whole different story – and I can't wait to get started."

The new series of "Strictly Come Dancing" is set to return in September with significant changes, including new hosts Emma Willis, Johannes Radebe, and Josh Widdicombe, who are taking over from Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman. The full lineup for the upcoming season will be announced later this summer.
