Charli XCX has released a three-song B-sides edition of her album "Music, Fashion, Film," adding previously unreleased tracks to a deluxe digital version on iTunes. The singer, 33, had initially informed fans that the songs – "I Keep On Thinking Bout You Every Single Day and Night," "Playboy Bunny," and "If You Take the Music Then What Has She Got?" – would not be available on streaming services.

In a social media announcement, Charli acknowledged her change of heart, telling fans, "You can call me a hypocrite, I don't mind." She explained that these B-sides were created for limited edition releases, such as 7-inch singles and the "Music, Fashion, Film" box set, as they felt like natural complements to the album. She noted that B-sides often become fan favorites and, while she initially felt it was counterintuitive to put them on streaming, she relented due to popular demand.

Fans reacted positively to the surprise release, with many taking to social media to praise the artist. Comments included "You’re a genius," "The greatest," and "You’re the goat man, I’m telling ya."

The singer, 33, initially said that three of her new tunes were 'never gonna go on streaming' but has since announced the release of the songs as part of a deluxe digital version of her album

In addition to new music, a photograph of Charli XCX by Harley Weir has been acquired by the National Portrait Gallery. The artwork, part of the Collecting the Now fund, will be displayed in the History Makers space, recognizing individuals who have shaped contemporary culture.

Last month, Charli released the music video for her single "Wink Wink," from her seventh album. The video featured provocative imagery, and its release followed a social media tease from the artist captioned "something horny is coming."
