Chanel brought its Resort collection to Sydney, Australia, for the fashion house's first-ever runway show on Australian soil. The event drew a crowd of prominent Australian celebrities, including actresses Nicole Kidman and Margot Robbie, and singer Kylie Minogue.

Kidman, a Chanel ambassador, wore a tailored black suit with a white vest and black heels. She attended with her daughter, Faith Margaret, who sported a cream miniskirt and matching bomber jacket. Robbie opted for a sheer white slip dress paired with a bra and white underwear, accessorizing with a metallic black Chanel bag and a large camellia.

Minogue, who performed at the after-party, was dressed in a cream cardigan with gold buttons and a white pencil skirt. She complemented her outfit with a black quilted Chanel bag and two-tone cream and black pumps, a style originally introduced by Gabrielle Chanel in 1957.

The collection shown was a repeat of Chanel's Resort collection, which debuted in Biarritz, France, in April. This strategy, by designer Matthieu Blazy, aims to capitalize on the upcoming Australian summer, starting December 1, as customers begin planning their warm-weather wardrobes. Blazy's recent designs, particularly the updated two-tone pumps, have reportedly generated long waiting lists at Chanel boutiques globally.
