Celine Dion made a surprise appearance at the L'Oreal Le Défilé 2026 fashion show during Paris Fashion Week, performing and walking the runway. The singer, who has been recovering from Stiff Person Syndrome, was met with enthusiastic applause when she emerged for the finale.
Dion, 58, performed her hit song "I'm Alive" before joining a host of supermodels and celebrities on the catwalk. Among those on stage with her were Eva Longoria, Kendall Jenner, Cara Delevingne, Heidi Klum, Aishwarya Rai, Simone Ashley, and Andie MacDowell. The event, titled 'Express Your Worth,' took place at Place Joffre.
Dion's appearance marks a significant step in her return to the public eye following her battle with Stiff Person Syndrome, a condition that causes muscle stiffness and spasms. She had previously canceled her tour in 2023 due to the illness, which at its worst affected her mobility and singing voice. In 2024, Dion expressed her determination to sing again.
The fashion show featured brand ambassadors including Eva Longoria, Jane Fonda, and Viola Davis, as well as Kendall Jenner, who opened the show in a black gown. Cara Delevingne was seen in a red cape gown, and Heidi Klum wore a plunging, embellished dress.
Paris Fashion Week, which commenced on Monday, is scheduled to feature collections from designers such as Victoria Beckham and Saint Laurent, with Louis Vuitton set to close the event on October 6. Dion is currently in the French capital for a five-week residency.
