Celine Dion Steps Out in Paris Amid Fashion Week
The iconic singer, managing Stiff Person Syndrome, showcased a stylish grey ensemble while leaving her hotel.
Celine Dion was spotted leaving her hotel in Paris on Saturday, dressed in a chic grey waistcoat and dark grey trousers. The 58-year-old singer, who is in the French capital for a five-week residency, accessorized her look with large sunglasses and silver earrings.
Dion appeared to be in good spirits, waving to fans before entering her car. Her presence in Paris coincides with Fashion Week, where she has been noted for her stylish appearances.
The superstar revealed in December 2022 her diagnosis of Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS), a neurological condition causing muscle stiffness and spasms. This condition has significantly impacted her ability to perform, affecting her mobility and voice.
Despite the challenges, Dion has committed to her recovery, stating her intention to return to singing. She has described her rehabilitation as an intensive program involving new medication, physical therapy, vocal therapy, and immunotherapy. Her regimen includes 90-minute Pilates sessions three times a week, alongside twice-weekly ballet and barre classes, to build strength and flexibility.
Dion has spoken about embracing her health battle as her "reason for living," emphasizing resilience and the importance of shared human experience. She recently performed on the runway during Paris Fashion Week for the l'Oreal Paris Women's Spring/Summer 2027 collection show.
Dion's residency is scheduled for 16 shows in the fall of 2026 and ten additional dates in May 2027. The singer aims to return to the stage, a promise she made to herself and her fans, finding strength in their support.
