Celine Dion Steps Out in Chic Grey Ensemble During Paris Fashion Week

Celine Dion was seen leaving her Paris hotel on Saturday in a sophisticated grey waistcoat and matching dark trousers, continuing her presence during Paris Fashion Week. The 58-year-old singer waved to fans before entering her car, appearing in high spirits as she headed to the Plénitude Arena for her performance later that evening.

Dion is in the French capital for a five-week residency, a period that follows her candid remarks about making her health battle her primary focus. She revealed her diagnosis of Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS), a condition causing muscle stiffness and painful spasms, in December 2022. At its most severe, SPS has impacted her mobility and vocal abilities.

Earlier in 2024, Dion expressed a determination to return to singing, stating, "I’ll sing again." During her first comeback show, she shared her emotional journey, acknowledging the difficulties but emphasizing her perseverance. "I made a promise to be back on stage. So here I am, singing for you and singing for me, singing live!" she told the audience, expressing gratitude for their support.

Dion has been undergoing an intensive rehabilitation program that includes new medication, physical therapy, vocal therapy, and immunotherapy. To prepare for performances, she has incorporated 90-minute Pilates sessions three times a week, along with twice-weekly ballet and barre classes. Her home gym is equipped with weights, a treadmill, and a reformer machine, contributing to increased flexibility.

Describing her recovery process to Harper's Bazaar, Dion likened it to repeatedly falling and getting back up, expressing pride in achieving capabilities her body was not initially predisposed to. She prefers to refer to SPS as a "progressive condition" rather than a "disease."

Dion's documentary, "I Am: Celine Dion," released in 2024, offered a raw look at her struggles with the condition. Despite the challenges, she has recently appeared upbeat while engaging with fans in Paris. Her residency is scheduled to include 16 shows in the autumn of 2026 and an additional ten dates in May 2027.
