Celine Dion Makes Surprise Return at L'Oréal Paris Fashion Week Show
The Canadian icon closed the "Express Your Worth" runway event with a performance, while models including Kendall Jenner and Cara Delevingne showcased the brand's latest offerings.
Celine Dion delivered a surprise performance to close the L'Oréal Paris Runway Show at Paris Fashion Week on Monday night. The event, titled "Express Your Worth," took place at Place Joffre in front of the Eiffel Tower.
Dion, 58, sang "I'm Alive" as she concluded the show. The performance marks a significant moment in her career comeback following a battle with Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS), which led to the cancellation of her tour in 2023. The singer appeared animated on stage, dancing with the models after her finale.
The L'Oréal Paris Le Défilé show featured a prominent lineup of models and brand ambassadors. Kendall Jenner, 30, opened the show in a semi-sheer black gown. She was joined on the runway by fellow ambassadors Eva Longoria, 51, Jane Fonda, 88, and Viola Davis, 61.
Cara Delevingne, 34, captivated in a striking red cape gown, while Heidi Klum, 53, also walked the runway. Other notable models included Simone Ashley, 31, and Andie MacDowell, 68, who appeared in glamorous dresses. Kristen Bell, a recent addition to the L'Oréal Paris ambassador team, also made her runway debut.
The show brought together global ambassadors, designers, and beauty industry professionals to promote themes of women's empowerment, inclusivity, confidence, and sisterhood.
Paris Fashion Week commenced on Monday, with collections from designers such as Victoria Beckham and Saint Laurent scheduled to be unveiled. The week is set to conclude with the Louis Vuitton show on October 6.
