Celine Dion Leaves Paris Hotel With Sons and Poodle After Final Concert
The singer concluded her comeback residency, which saw her break venue ticket sales records, before departing with her children and her pet poodle, Madison.
Celine Dion concluded her comeback residency in Paris on Saturday night, marking her return to the spotlight after a six-year hiatus. The 58-year-old singer was seen leaving the Royal Monceau hotel on Sunday with her twin sons, Eddy and Nelson, aged 15, and her toy poodle, Madison.
Dion tucked Madison into her oversized green coat while carrying a burgundy bag and wearing statement sunglasses. The poodle, adopted in early 2026, had been introduced to fans on social media and appeared during Dion's Paris stay.
The final performance of the year took place at the Plenitude Arena in Nanterre, just outside Paris. This marked the end of the first leg of her residency, which followed years away from regular concert performances.
Dion's ongoing battle with stiff-person syndrome (SPS), a rare neurological condition affecting the central nervous system, led to the public announcement of her diagnosis in December 2022. Symptoms had made singing and performing increasingly difficult, resulting in the postponement and cancellation of previous tour dates, including the remaining dates of her Courage World Tour.
Stiff-person syndrome can cause muscle stiffness, painful spasms, and mobility issues. Dion publicly revealed her diagnosis after experiencing symptoms that impacted her ability to perform.
The concluding concert drew over 30,000 fans, who experienced a setlist of approximately 30 songs spanning her French and English repertoire. The residency achieved record-breaking ticket sales, with Dion selling more tickets than any other artist in the venue's history.
During her final show, Dion expressed her feelings about the swift passage of the five-week run, telling the audience in French that she already missed them and could not believe it was the last night. "This beautiful adventure finishes tonight. But we'll meet again next May. In the meantime, believe in yourselves and hold on to your dreams!" she told the crowd.
The initial run of 16 nights has been extended, with an additional ten performances scheduled for May 2027.
Wearing a custom Chanel ensemble, Dion concluded the 2026 residency with her song "Bonjour, Pardon, Merci." The two-hour performance celebrated her decades-long career, blending French and English songs and revisiting memorable moments from her catalog. Notable performances included "My Heart Will Go On," "The Power of Love," "Because You Loved Me," and "All by Myself," alongside French classics like "Pour que tu m'aimes encore." Dion was accompanied by musical director Scott Price, a full band, a string quartet, and a 16-member choir throughout the residency.
