Rapper Cardi B has addressed fan suggestions that she remain single following her recent breakup with NFL player Stefon Diggs. In a recording shared on X on Wednesday, she stated, "I’m not going to be single for the rest of my life."
Cardi B explained that she has been single throughout her recent tour, asserting she has not been "talking to nobody, not entertaining nobody, not anything." She described her current activities as "going outside, chilling with friends, I’ve been vacationing, I’ve been drinking I’ve been having fun. I’ve been having a ball."
However, she emphasized that personal enjoyment includes companionship, stating, "even when we have a ball, we need some entertainment. Because at the end of the day baby, entertainment is needed."
While admitting she could be "a little bit more exclusive" in her romantic choices, Cardi B stated she would not apologize for dating. "Could I pick better men? Probably. Maybe. So, whatever," she confessed. She concluded her remarks by saying, "I need to be entertained. Life is cool. Life is everything. But it’s just like, all right, the p—y needs love too."
The rapper's comments come weeks after she was reportedly seen with Nigerian soccer star Maduka Okoye during Paris Fashion Week. The two were later reported to be dining in Italy.
Around the same time, Okoye's ex-partner, Jelicia Westhoff, accused him of being a neglectful father and of alleged abuse. Westhoff claimed Okoye has not been present for their 3-year-old son and did not visit him when he was hospitalized in December. She also made allegations of infidelity and physical abuse.
Cardi B and Stefon Diggs debuted their relationship in May 2025, following Cardi B's split from Offset. The couple welcomed a son in November. Diggs has five other children, and Cardi B shares three children with Offset.
