MILAN (AP) — Rapper Cardi B made a glamorous appearance at the Roberto Cavalli runway show on Thursday, drawing significant attention from photographers as Milan Fashion Week continued.
Arriving in a striking animal-print coat, dark sunglasses, and with her hair styled in a voluminous blowout, Cardi B took her front-row seat alongside stylist Kollin Carter. The show featured designer Fausto Puglisi's Spring-Summer 2027 womenswear collection.
Puglisi's designs amplified the signature Cavalli aesthetic, blending animal prints, floral motifs, and feathers with the brand's established elements of exposed skin and embellished denim. The collection included flowing robes paired with low-rise jeans worn with visible thongs and bra tops. Cropped jeans were adorned with crystals and feathers, while a mesh minidress featured cascading golden ruffles. Chiffon skirts were styled with shredded hemlines, and various animal prints were juxtaposed in a dynamic, jungle-inspired theme. The designs emphasized a playful clash of prints, embodying Cavalli's codes of sensuality, glamour, and untamed instinct.
"What I like about Cavalli is that you have the possibility to create jeans as an object," Puglisi stated backstage. "You feel them, you have them and you put them in your wardrobe, and you feel better. It’s about joy."
