Camilla Franks Launches 'Paris by CAMILLA' Collection in Sydney
Fashion designer Camilla Franks celebrated her new ready-to-wear collection with a Parisian-themed event in Sydney, attended by notable social figures.
Fashion designer Camilla Franks transformed Sydney's Potts Point into a Parisian-inspired celebration for the launch of her latest collection, 'Paris by CAMILLA.' The event, held at French-inspired restaurant Bonsoir, drew a crowd of Sydney's fashion and social elite.
Among the notable guests were television presenter Jackie 'O' Henderson, influencer Nadia Fairfax, interior designer Steve Cordony, stylist Emily Gurr, television presenter Renee Bargh, and fashion influencer Candice Lake. Guests embraced the theme by wearing pieces from the CAMILLA brand.
The evening featured French-inspired cuisine, including oysters, charcuterie, whipped quail, and Wagyu sirloin. Chocolate cigarettes, branded with the CAMILLA logo, were served alongside champagne. The table settings included custom illustrated menus created by artist Anouk Colantoni.
As the night progressed, the event transitioned into a dance party, with Franks and her friend, Pip Edwards, both performing splits on the dance floor. Edwards shared a moment on social media, referring to their synchronized splits as their "party trick."
The 'Paris by CAMILLA' collection is described as a new ready-to-wear line inspired by Franks' travels in Paris. The brand stated that the collection aims to balance its signature craftsmanship with a contemporary approach to fashion, moving beyond its traditional resort wear focus.
