Calvin Harris has been officially recognized by Guinness World Records for hosting the largest ever DJ set audience. An estimated 1.6 million people attended his performance in Sao Paulo, Brazil, earlier this year.
The event, which took place on January 14, 2024, saw the Scottish DJ, whose full name is Adam Richard Wiles, perform on the main stage at the Autódromo de Interlagos, a renowned motorsport circuit.
The previous record was held by the DJ collective "50,000 Tracks," who performed to a crowd of 75,000 people at the Dubai World Trade Centre in 2010. Harris's Sao Paulo set more than doubled that figure, solidifying his place in the record books.
