Bobbi Brown's New Jones Road Makeup Kit Aims for Another Sell-Out

Bobbi Brown's Jones Road beauty brand has launched its sixth annual curated makeup collection, dubbed "The Bobbi Kit 6.0." This limited-edition set, which has reportedly sold out for the past five years, aims to provide users with a comprehensive collection for a full makeup look that can transition from day to night.

"The kit is one of my favorites to work on because it’s a collection of the products I want in my kit," Brown told Page Six Style. "Each set is meant to work for day or night."

For this year's iteration, Brown drew inspiration from her archives. The kit prominently features the Silky Highlighting Powder, described as a four-shade compact designed for illuminating cheekbones but also versatile enough to be used as eyeshadow. "Swipe it across your lids for an instant wash of shimmer, or up on the brow bone for an easy highlight," Brown advised.

Also included is the Lip Crayon, a product Brown describes as combining lipstick and liner into a single, easy-to-use item. "You can swipe it on without a mirror for color that glides on and keeps lips soft all day," she said. The Lip Crayon is available in two shades, Me (a cool nude) and Rich Nude (a deep chocolate berry), and is noted for its pigmented, non-drying, and lightweight formula.

The Bobbi Kit 6.0 is housed in a vegan leather bag and comes in two color options: Bare, suited for light to medium skin tones, and Joy, designed for medium to deep skin tones. Each set also includes The Statement Mascara, available in black or a new brown shade, along with new Miracle Balm shades and a highlight brush.

Brown outlined a simple application strategy for the kit: start with a dab of Miracle Balm on the cheeks, then use the highlight brush with the Silky Highlighting Powder to dust cheekbones for a subtle glow. For a daytime look, she suggests a sheer application of balm, a swipe of the Lip Crayon, and one coat of mascara. For evening, users can build up the highlighter, layer the Lip Crayon for deeper color, and add an extra coat of mascara.

Jones Road was launched by Brown six years ago and has since garnered a significant following. The brand emphasizes accessible, high-quality makeup designed for ease of use.
