Beckhams and estranged son Brooklyn remain separated by miles, not just the Seine, during Paris Fashion Week
Despite proximity in Paris, sources suggest no immediate reconciliation between the Beckham family and their eldest son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz.
David and Victoria Beckham were in close proximity to their eldest son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz during Paris Fashion Week, with only the River Seine separating them, yet a significant rift appears to remain.
While the families have often been separated by the Atlantic Ocean, with Brooklyn and Peltz based in Beverly Hills and the Beckhams in London, the fashion event brought them within less than a mile of each other. David, Victoria, and their other children, Harper, Romeo, and Cruz, attended Victoria's latest collection showcase at the Conciergerie. Meanwhile, Brooklyn and Peltz were seen enjoying events near the Louvre.
Sources close to the family suggest that the proximity did not indicate any thawing of the estrangement. "It feels like there is some trolling going on. You have to wonder whether Nicola and Brooklyn are enjoying winding it all up. They made sure they were seen everywhere thanks to a certain pap firm," one source stated.
"It doesn’t matter what the distance between the two sides is, there is absolutely no chance of any olive branches or anyone making up any time soon," the source added.
Brooklyn and Peltz had been active in Paris since the middle of the previous week, attending events such as the Balenciaga show and a party celebrating the jewelry brand Messika, with their activities documented by photographers. In contrast, Victoria's show commenced later on Friday evening.
The rift within the family reportedly widened after Brooklyn and Peltz declined to attend various significant Beckham family celebrations, including events in Bordeaux, the Cotswolds, and a meal at a Notting Hill restaurant. In January, Brooklyn publicly shared a message on Instagram detailing accusations against his parents, including an incident at his wedding.
