Barbara Palvin Walks Victoria's Secret Runway Six Weeks After Giving Birth
The model returned to the catwalk Sunday, just six weeks after welcoming her first child with Dylan Sprouse.
Barbara Palvin made a striking return to the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show runway on Sunday, a mere six weeks after giving birth to her daughter, Sylvie. The Hungarian model showcased her post-baby body in a sheer, pale pink ensemble, complete with a matching bra and panties.
Palvin, 33, embraced her role as a new mother, telling Page Six Style backstage that her return was a normal part of postpartum recovery. "I tell everyone: This is normal. Maternity leave is six to eight weeks; I’m six weeks tomorrow, so I’m just doing what everyone [else] is doing. And I only need to walk down a runway!" she stated.
She joined her hair down in loose waves and accessorized with oversized gold hoop earrings featuring the Victoria's Secret logo. The appearance marks a significant moment for Palvin, who welcomed her first child with husband Dylan Sprouse on September 7th. The couple announced their pregnancy in May, debuting Palvin's baby bump at the Cannes Film Festival.
Palvin follows in the footsteps of other Victoria's Secret models who have returned to the runway shortly after childbirth. Jasmine Tookes walked while nine months pregnant, and Heidi Klum famously revealed she was pregnant with her daughter Leni during the 2003 show. Klum also returned to the runway eight weeks after giving birth to her son Henry in 2005 and five weeks after her daughter Lou Samuel in 2009. Adriana Lima also made runway appearances eight weeks after her first child in 2008 and two months after her second child in 2012.
Victoria's Secret had teased Palvin's return prior to the show, posting an Instagram video of the model pushing a stroller with the caption, "Motherhood looks good on you, @realbarbarapalvin. So does the runway—see you in LA."
Sprouse expressed pride in his wife's rapid return, writing on Instagram, "Proud of my missus, jumping right into the vs fashion show post-birth. Built different. I don’t know where you find the energy but damn!"
Palvin's career with Victoria's Secret began with her runway debut at 17 for Prada, followed by her first Victoria's Secret appearance. She officially became an Angel in 2019 and has walked in subsequent shows, including 2024 and 2025.
