Apple Martin Makes Runway Debut for Chloe at Paris Fashion Week
The 22-year-old daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin walked for the fashion house's latest collection.
Apple Martin, 22, the daughter of actress Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, made her runway debut for the fashion brand Chloe at Paris Fashion Week on Thursday. Martin, often noted for her resemblance to her mother, appeared on the catwalk wearing an oversized white broderie anglaise dress and Chloe's signature high platform heels with a perspex detail.
The collection, titled 'The Obsessive Collection' by Chloe's creative director Chemena Kamali, featured 1960s floral embroideries, 1970s-inspired fisherman coats and capes, and romantic skirts.
Martin joined other models, including Natasha Poly, Eva Herzigova, and Maria Carla Boscono, on the runway. Earlier this summer, she was announced as the face of Chloe's à la Plage campaign, photographed by David Sims.
She has previously modeled for Self-Portrait and The Gap. In a statement released in May, Martin expressed her excitement about working with Chloe, calling the collection "ethereal" and "incredibly beautiful."
Martin is currently a student at Vanderbilt University, where she began studying Law, History and Society in 2022. The university has a highly selective admissions process, with an acceptance rate of 5.3 percent.
Like her mother, who has been a longtime fan of Chloe and wore the brand to the Met Gala in 2019, Apple has also secured representation from CAA, a prominent Hollywood agency. She has expressed aspirations to become an actress, having been involved in theater productions at Vanderbilt, including the Vanderbilt Original Cast. While she enjoys acting and dancing, she has stated that singing on stage is "terrifying" and her primary dream is to act in film.
