Mike Wolfe, the 61-year-old star of the History Channel series “American Pickers,” has been discharged from the hospital after a serious car crash in which his longtime girlfriend, model and presenter Leticia Cline, sustained multiple injuries and remains hospitalized, representatives said.

Wolfe’s representatives told People that Cline suffered fractures to her jaw, sternum and ribs, as well as a partially collapsed lung, and that she was originally airlifted from the scene. The statement said Cline "remains hospitalized and will undergo several surgeries once the swelling subsides." Wolfe was photographed sitting beside Cline in the hospital as she recovered.

Cline shared details of her injuries on social media, writing that her "mouth will be wired shut" as part of her recovery and listing a broken jaw in several places, broken ribs, a fractured sternum, a collapsed lung and swelling on her spine. In posted images she appeared in a hospital bed with an IV drip and, in another photo, with a neck brace while Wolfe reclined beside her.

Wolfe and Cline thanked first responders and solicited privacy while she recuperates. A statement from Wolfe’s representatives said the couple and their families were "grateful for the swift response of first responders and the outpouring of support they have received during this difficult time. They ask for privacy as Leticia continues her recovery." Wolfe posted on social media, "Thank you for respecting our privacy at this time and we appreciate all of your love & prayers. God bless," and later added that "it’s been a rough nite but now there’s light at the end of the tunnel. I truly believe in the power of group prayers."

The crash prompted a swift medical response; Cline’s initial evacuation by air was reported by the couple and their representatives. Cline’s social media posts showed medical equipment and images from the hospital but did not detail the circumstances of the crash.

Wolfe, who rose to fame on “American Pickers,” has said he is aiming for a slower pace of life. Earlier this year he closed his Nashville Antique Archaeology store after 15 years, writing that the decision reflected a desire to change his rhythm and focus on what his heart was calling him to next.

The couple’s hospitalization comes less than two years after the death of Wolfe’s longtime on-screen partner Frank Fritz, who died in September 2024 from complications of a stroke. "Every day we think about Frank on set," Wolfe told The Post in March, noting that Fritz had been a friend since eighth grade and that the series often carried memories that connected the team to him. "He was such a big part of the show."

"American Pickers" began its 27th season in July. Wolfe has remained a public figure through the series and his business ventures, and the representatives' statement asked for respect for the couple's privacy as Cline prepares for upcoming surgeries.

Wolfe was released from the hospital and is reported to be by Cline’s side as she remains under treatment. Representatives did not provide a timetable for the surgeries or for Cline’s discharge, and the couple requested privacy as her recovery continues.
