Amanda Seyfried Makes First Public Appearance Since Split at Paris Fashion Week Event
The actress attended the Tiffany & M.A.D. Dinner, marking her first public outing since announcing her separation from husband Thomas Sadoski.
Amanda Seyfried appeared publicly for the first time since announcing her split from husband Thomas Sadoski at the Tiffany & M.A.D. Dinner during Paris Fashion Week on Monday. Seyfried, 40, was seen in a strapless black dress at the event, which also drew stars like Anya Taylor-Joy and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
The couple confirmed their separation earlier this month in a joint statement to PEOPLE, stating they had "been separated for a while, and it's proven to be the right move for us and our family unit." They added, "We've got each other forever—and it's GOOD."
Seyfried and Sadoski, who share two children, were last pictured together in January at an event celebrating her Golden Globe nomination. Despite the separation, Seyfried shared a photo of Sadoski on her Instagram Stories that same week, captioning it "@thomassadoski is a #reptiledad."
The actress also shared a poignant quote on social media about keeping an open heart and forgiving oneself, followed by a more cryptic message about challenges only being difficult if one decides they are.
During their relationship, Seyfried told Vogue in January that Sadoski "sacrifices a lot for me" due to her demanding career, acknowledging that "in this moment, the opportunities I’m being afforded are insane."
The pair met in 2015 while starring together in the off-Broadway play "The Way We Get By."
