Amanda Owen, known for her role in Our Yorkshire Farm, and her daughter Edith attended the Television and Radio Industries Club (TRIC) Awards in London on Tuesday. The pair, who typically navigate farm life in Yorkshire, arrived in the capital for the annual industry event held at the Grosvenor House Hotel.
Owen, 51, and her 17-year-old daughter Edith, walked the red carpet in dresses suitable for the warm weather. Owen wore a black and white polka dot dress complemented by a lace-effect necklace. Edith opted for a pale pink dress and sunglasses.
The TRIC Awards celebrate prominent figures in television, radio, and online content, with categories including 'soap of the year,' 'best radio talk show,' 'sports presenter,' and 'podcast.' The event was hosted by TRIC president Dan Walker.
Owen recently shared reflections on her family's life at Ravenseat Farm in Swaledale. She continues to work alongside her ex-husband Clive, following their separation in June 2022. The couple have nine children who assist with farm duties.
In her reflections, Owen emphasized the value of their rural lifestyle, noting its role in fostering resilience and determination in her children. She expressed the belief that this upbringing equips them with an "indomitable spirit and determination that will shape them well for the future."
