Adrianne Curry Criticizes Victoria's Secret for Kylie Jenner's Fantasy Bra Appearance

Adrianne Curry, winner of the original season of "America's Next Top Model," has voiced strong criticism regarding Victoria's Secret's decision to feature Kylie Jenner wearing the $50 million Fantasy Bra at their recent fashion show. Curry stated on a live stream that Jenner, despite her significant influence, does not possess "a model's body" and suggested the casting was an attempt at a "virtue signal" or a focus on celebrity status over traditional modeling credentials.

"I don't know why they put her in the [Fantasy Bra]. That's for the belle of the ball. That is for the top Victoria's Secret Angel," Curry said, expressing her belief that the honor should be reserved for a long-standing Victoria's Secret Angel. She further characterized the brand as a "joke" for this decision.

The 2026 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, held in Culver City, California, saw Jenner become the first non-Angel to model the coveted Fantasy Bra since 2018. The bra itself is valued at $50 million and features a 22 million yellow diamond centerpiece among 4,410 other natural diamonds. Past wearers include supermodels such as Gisele Bundchen, Heidi Klum, and Tyra Banks.

Jenner's appearance on the runway has divided public opinion. While some fans praised her confidence and beauty, others online expressed dissatisfaction, with comments like "This is UNACCEPTABLE" and "Victoria Secret truly out of creativity" appearing on social media.

During a live stream this week, Curry blasted Victoria's Secret and said that Jenner, 29, shouldn't have been selected to wear the $50million Fantasy Bra

Victoria's Secret creative director Adam Selman defended the choice, telling Vogue that Jenner's broad reach "beyond fashion, beyond culture, beyond TV, beyond one singular thing" made her a "great catalyst" for the show, which he described as "true entertainment." Selman explained that the show's theme was "fandomonium," and that pairing the Fantasy Bra with an "unexpected talent who has a massive following and massive cultural impact" was a deliberate and joyful decision.

Jenner was supported in the front row by boyfriend Timothee Chalamet and mother Kris Jenner. Following the show, she shared a post on her Instagram Stories calling it the "best day ever."
