Aaliyah Kikumoto, who gained internet fame as the "Masters Girl" during the Masters tournament several years ago, has announced she is now a Miami Dolphins cheerleader.
Kikumoto, a former member of the Texas Tech Pom Squad, shared the news earlier this week, expressing her excitement about joining the professional cheerleading team. "Still feels surreal getting to say… I AM A MIAMI DOLPHINS CHEERLEADER 🧡🩵," she wrote on social media.
She thanked those who believed in her and provided the opportunity, adding, "I can’t wait to see what this next chapter brings and to represent this organization both on and off the field. This is seriously a dream come true. I’m so grateful for everyone who has supported me along the way and for the opportunity to continue doing what I love the most."
The transition to professional cheerleading is a natural progression for Kikumoto, as her mother, AJ Kikumoto, is also a performer, having worked as a model and a former Denver Nuggets dancer.
Miami Dolphins cheerleaders prepare to take the field before a game at Hard Rock Stadium.
Kikumoto's journey from viral internet sensation and college dancer to NFL cheerleader marks a significant achievement. The Dolphins will begin their next season with Kikumoto as part of their cheerleading squad.
