Zenagen Debuts ZENERGY Shampoo for Volumizing Hair Care

Zenagen, a haircare brand focused on science-based solutions, has introduced ZENERGY, a new daily performance shampoo. The product is designed to provide fuller-looking hair through its scalp-focused formulation and strengthening technology. ZENERGY aims to elevate the role of the daily shampoo in haircare routines by energizing the scalp and reinforcing hair strands with consistent use.
The shampoo features Microfoam Technology, which uses a blend of four surfactant systems to create a fine lather that effectively removes oil and buildup while maintaining scalp balance. This formulation is intended for daily use and maintains a pH range of 5.5–6.5 to protect the scalp and hair, distinguishing it from typical clarifying shampoos.
Key ingredients in ZENERGY include Liposomal Encapsulated Caffeine and Biotin, which are intended to support the hair cycle at the scalp. Botanical ingredients contribute to a balanced scalp environment, and amino acids are included to reinforce and strengthen individual hair strands. This combination aims to make hair appear healthier and more resilient over time.
Third-party instrumental testing reported a 121% increase in hair volume after a single use, with a sustained 114% increase after eight hours. Further testing indicated a 70% reduction in hair breakage and a 48% decrease in combing friction on damaged hair. The shampoo also provided frizz control for up to 24 hours in high humidity conditions.
