Victoria Beckham's Fashion Firm Reports £1.7 Million Loss Despite Netflix Boost
Victoria Beckham's fashion business recorded a £1.7 million loss after tax for the year ending December 2025, though overall group profits and sales saw an increase.

Victoria Beckham's fashion business has reported a loss of £1.7 million after tax for the year ending December 2025. This comes despite a significant sales boost attributed to her Netflix documentary, which highlighted specific items from her clothing line. The documentary's promotion led to a 48% increase in unit sales for denim and a 35% rise for jersey wear.
The overall Victoria Beckham Holdings group, which includes both fashion and beauty operations, announced an operating profit of £7.3 million for the same period, a substantial turnaround from a £1.5 million loss the previous year. After tax, the group posted a profit of £2.4 million.
However, the fashion division specifically reported an operating profit of £1.5 million, but this was offset by after-tax losses, resulting in the £1.7 million deficit. The fashion business also took on a new loan of £1.5 million and owes £59 million to creditors. The cost of sales for the fashion segment increased to £17.5 million.
Victoria Beckham herself has spoken about the challenges the business has faced, including past significant losses that led to her feeling embarrassed and desperate. She recalled moments of tears and feeling like a "fire fighter" due to the company being tens of millions in the red. She also mentioned relying on her husband, David Beckham, for financial support, which was a difficult situation for both of them.
"This business is everything to me, it's absolutely who I am but it has been a hell of a journey. I almost lost everything and that was a dark, dark time," she stated in the documentary. David Beckham added that the situation was hard because Victoria is a "proud woman" and that at one point he was concerned about his ability to continue funding the business.
The company received a £30 million investment from David Belhassen's Neo Investments in 2017. In addition to the Netflix series, the brand has recently launched a partnership with Gap and opened a pop-up store in Bal Harbour Shops, Florida. A new store is also slated to open in New York in September, which will combine fashion, beauty, and fragrance offerings.
