Unilever has agreed to sell its Welly bandage business to private-equity firm Forward Consumer Partners. The deal includes the colorful bandage brand known for its distinctive designs.
As part of the acquisition, Welly founder Chrisrobert Miller will return to the company as an adviser. Forward Consumer Partners specializes in investing in consumer brands and aims to support the growth of Welly under new ownership. Further details of the transaction were not immediately disclosed.
