UK Holiday Park Operator to Expand Wetherspoon Pubs Across Most Locations
Haven Holidays partners with JD Wetherspoon to offer budget-friendly dining options at nearly all 39 of its UK sites following a successful trial.
Haven Holidays, a major UK holiday park operator, has announced plans to introduce JD Wetherspoon pubs across the majority of its 39 locations. This expansion follows the significant success of an initial partnership that saw the first Wetherspoon pub, The Five Stones, open at Primrose Valley in North Yorkshire in 2025. The trial proved so popular that it led to the rapid rollout of nine additional pubs within months.
In 2025, Haven added four more pubs, including The Humber Stone in Cleethorpes, The London Stone in Rochester, The Red Rocks in Exmouth, and The Sir Thomas Haggerston in Haggerston. Earlier this year, the company welcomed four more establishments: The Bluff Inn in Cornwall, The Alfred Wainwright in Cumbria, The White Clover in Great Yarmouth, and The Springfield in Blackpool. The company has now confirmed that most of its parks will adopt the Wetherspoon model.
Simon Palethorpe, CEO of Haven Holidays, expressed enthusiasm for the growing collaboration. "I would like to see us growing this concept further across our estate," Palethorpe stated. "I definitely think there is an opportunity for the majority of our parks to have a Wetherspoons." He added that the initial success exceeded expectations, with "a million" customers served and expectations for "many millions in a couple of years time."
Beyond the budget-friendly food and drink, Wetherspoon pubs at Haven sites will also feature live broadcasts of the World Cup this summer. The menu includes a "3 for £15" offer on small plates. This partnership comes as a coach company in Wales launched what is described as the UK's first Wetherspoon pub crawl, offering a 250-mile tour of six JD Wetherspoon pubs across North Wales and the border for £20 per person. The tour, organized by Lloyds Coaches, is scheduled for June 27 and promises a day of food, drinks, and sightseeing.
