Cindy Crawford, Rande Gerber, and Kaia Gerber are backing Hampton Sun, a brand they discovered during a hotel stay.
Supermodel Cindy Crawford and her family have become investors in Hampton Sun, a luxury sunscreen brand they discovered a few years ago.
Rande Gerber, Crawford's husband, became a partner in the company in 2023 after he and their daughter, Kaia Gerber, were impressed by the brand's products. The family reportedly discovered Hampton Sun sunscreens during a stay at the Four Seasons Miami, noting their "silky and smooth" texture.
Kaia Gerber has publicly endorsed the brand, telling Refinery 29 in 2022 that she uses the Hampton Sun Tanning Oil with SPF. She described it as an introduction from her father.
Crawford has also shared her favor for the brand. In 2022, she told The Zoe Report that the Age-Defying SPF 30 Mineral Face Crème, which has since been reformulated to SPF 50, is her daily facial sunscreen. She noted that it does not leave a greasy residue and includes ingredients like botanicals, argan oil, and vitamin E aimed at brightening skin and promoting collagen synthesis.
Crawford also cited the SPF 30 Mineral Mist as an essential product. The brand also offers an SPF 50 version of this mist.
Hampton Sun describes itself as the "world's most luxurious sunscreen." The product line includes a variety of sunscreens, such as a luminous body oil with a pearlescent finish, a mineral sunscreen with a subtle bronze tint, and a lightweight gel formula. The company states its products are dermatologist-approved, reef-safe, and cruelty-free, offering both mineral and chemical sunscreen options.
According to the brand's claims, its ultra-light dry oil absorbs almost immediately, while the mineral mist provides a flattering bronze tint. The SPF 15 Broad Spectrum Gel is formulated with jojoba oil and aloe vera.
