Seann William Scott Lists Malibu Compound for $17.5 Million

Actor Seann William Scott has listed his Malibu surfing compound, known as the Vanaya House, for $17.5 million. The property, situated in the hills above Zuma Beach, was previously listed for $17.85 million with a different brokerage earlier this year.

The gated estate, which sits on just under 1.5 acres, is inspired by Balinese architecture and features a resort-style pool, a tennis court with a viewing pavilion, covered patios, and open-air lounges. The approximately 4,100-square-foot stucco and redwood structure was built in 1980 and includes floor-to-ceiling glass walls offering coastline glimpses.

Scott, known for his role as Steve Stifler in the "American Pie" franchise and his part in "Dude, Where's My Car?", purchased the five-bedroom, 4.5-bath property for $3.95 million in 2004. He has since overseen a remodel that updated the living, dining, and kitchen areas, adding custom cabinetry to the chef's kitchen. The sunken living room is highlighted by a stone fireplace that extends to the ceiling.

The upstairs terrace is an extension of the main bedroom.

Upstairs, the main bedroom suite includes a spa-like bathroom and access to a large terrace with views. The exterior amenities include an oval-shaped pool and a wood footbridge leading to a lily pad-covered pond and a lighted tennis court.

Scott, who stars in the ABC series "Shifting Gears," also voiced Crash in the "Ice Age" franchise. He also has a Venice Beach home on the market for $4.5 million, which was initially listed for $4.97 million in 2024.

Scott shares a daughter with his ex-wife, Olivia Korenberg. The listing broker for the Malibu compound is Sam Plouchart of Christie's International Real Estate Southern California.
