Roxy Jacenko Enjoys Italian Holiday Amid Husband's AI Business Boom
PR maven Roxy Jacenko is vacationing in Italy following her decision to step down from her Australian business interests, while her husband Oliver Curtis's AI venture nears billionaire status.
Public relations figure Roxy Jacenko is spending time in Italy aboard a luxury yacht, enjoying a European summer with her husband, businessman Oliver Curtis. The getaway follows Jacenko's announcement that she is stepping down from her final Australian business, the influencer management company Ministry of Talent (MOT).
Jacenko, 46, was seen in Portofino wearing a navy and white bikini. She later strolled through the Italian Riviera town in a yellow romper and accessorized with a Hermes Birkin bag. Jacenko stated she will remain with MOT in an advisory and founder capacity to support her protégé, Emily Hayman, who is taking over the directorship. Jacenko resides in Singapore and has no plans to return to Australia.
Meanwhile, her husband, Oliver Curtis, is reportedly on a path to becoming Australia's next billionaire. Curtis is involved in an artificial intelligence infrastructure business that is transforming northern Tasmania into a technology hub. He co-founded the company after serving a prison sentence for insider trading convictions in 2016.
The AI venture, dubbed Project Southgate, is building what is described as Australia's first green AI factory in Launceston. This facility is intended for use by major AI companies such as Meta, Amazon, and Microsoft for training and running large AI language models. The company has secured significant equity funding, tripling its valuation to $6 billion within two months at the end of last year. Curtis is reportedly preparing to list the company on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).
