OLIPOP Unveils Holiday Chocolate Set Inspired by Soda Flavors
The 'better-for-you' soda brand collaborates with Compartés for a unique, limited-edition chocolate collection.
OLIPOP, known for its prebiotic-infused sodas, has ventured into the world of chocolate with a new holiday gift set created in collaboration with Compartés, a chocolatier specializing in handcrafted bars. The limited-edition collection translates the flavors of three popular OLIPOP sodas—Crisp Apple, Ginger Ale, and the new Pomegranate Sparkle—into chocolate bar form.
The gift set arrives in a decorative green box with gold foil accents, designed to serve as a ready-made holiday present. To ensure freshness, the chocolates are shipped with ice packs. The complete set is priced at $45.
The bars are gluten-free and aim to capture the essence of the sodas rather than replicate them exactly. The collaboration was conceived by OLIPOP Executive Chairman Ben Goodwin, who has a background as a chocolatier. Goodwin stated that the goal was to explore the overlap between the two distinct treats and experiment with the unique flavor notes of each OLIPOP soda in conjunction with chocolate.
Reviewers have described the chocolate as velvety and smooth, with each flavor achieving a balanced profile. The Pomegranate Sparkle bar offers a fruity tang, the Ginger Ale bar incorporates a subtle lime note, and the Crisp Apple flavor is noted for its decadent texture, evoking a holiday treat.
