Morgan Stanley Surpasses $10 Trillion in Wealth Management Assets

Morgan Stanley has achieved its long-term objective of managing $10 trillion in wealth management assets, a milestone reached in the second quarter.

More than half of the $148 billion in new assets acquired during the quarter came from employees of companies that recently conducted initial public offerings (IPOs). These individuals received substantial financial gains from their company's stock market debuts and subsequently channeled these funds into Morgan Stanley's asset management division.

The bank reported a 58 percent increase in second-quarter profits, reaching £4.2 billion. This growth follows strong earnings reports from competitors JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs.
