Me+Em Plans US Expansion Amid Strong Profit Growth

British womenswear brand Me+Em is set to expand its presence in the United States, announcing plans for new store openings in Houston and Los Angeles by the end of 2026. The company revealed this expansion alongside strong financial results, with sales rising 29% to £190 million and profits increasing 53% to £37 million for the year ending January 31.

Me+Em currently operates seven stores in the U.S., including locations in New York, California, Texas, and Atlanta. The brand first entered the American market in 2024 with a store on Madison Avenue in New York. In addition to its U.S. footprint, the label has 11 stores in the United Kingdom and concessions in major department stores like Selfridges and Harrods.

Founded in 2009 by Chief Executive Clare Hornby, Me+Em has gained recognition for its modern luxury apparel. The brand is a favorite among celebrities, with actresses such as Daisy Edgar-Jones and Margot Robbie seen wearing its designs. Members of the royal family also patronize the brand, with Queen Camilla awarding Me+Em a Royal Warrant in April.

Hornby expressed optimism about the brand's growth trajectory, stating, "Strong revenue growth, and accelerating demand for our clothes globally, tells us there is a genuine appetite for our British modern luxury proposition. We see a huge opportunity ahead of us as we move into this next chapter of growth."
