Marc Anthony Welcomes Eighth Child with Wife Nadia Ferreira
The singer and his wife announced the arrival of their daughter, Myla, on Instagram.
Singer Marc Anthony, 57, and his wife, model Nadia Ferreira, 27, have welcomed their second child together, a daughter named Myla. The couple announced the birth on Instagram on Tuesday, sharing a joint post that revealed the name, which means 'merciful' or 'gracious.'
Anthony and Ferreira shared a photo of their elder child, Marco, holding his new baby sister, as well as a picture of the three of them holding the newborn's arm. The couple expressed their joy in Spanish, stating, 'What a great blessing to be able to share with you the arrival of our precious MYLA. You can't imagine the happiness we have at home, we are over the moon.'
This is Ferreira's second child with Anthony, and the couple announced her pregnancy in March. In photos posted at the time, Ferreira displayed her baby bump while wearing a two-piece knit set and gold jewelry.
Myla is the eighth child for Anthony, who has six other children from previous relationships. He shares son Chase and daughter Arianna with ex-girlfriend Debbie Rosado; sons Cristian and Ryan with ex-wife Dayanara Torres; and twins Emme and Max with ex-wife Jennifer Lopez.
Anthony married Ferreira in January 2023 after an eight-month engagement. Their wedding ceremony was held at the Perez Art Museum in Miami and was attended by notable figures such as David Beckham, Maluma, and Salma Hayek. Miami Mayor Francis X. Suarez officiated the ceremony. Ferreira was Miss Paraguay in 2021 and was the first runner-up in the Miss Universe Pageant.
