M&S Unveils New Peptide-Based Anti-Aging Skincare Line Fronted by Emma Willis

Marks & Spencer has launched a new anti-aging skincare range named "Formula," which centers on peptides, a trending ingredient in the wellness industry. The collection includes a hero product, the Ultra Peptide serum, priced at £29, along with an eye cream, day and night creams, and a neck and décolletage cream.

Peptides, described as short chains of amino acids, are credited by proponents with numerous health benefits, including injury recovery, weight loss, and hair growth. In skincare, they are noted for their potential to brighten and tighten the skin. The Formula range aims to leverage these properties to leave skin looking fresh, radiant, and smooth.

The Ultra Peptide serum is marketed as M&S Beauty's "most advanced innovation yet." It contains a blend of peptides, niacinamide, omega three and six, ceramides, and NAD+ Booster. The product promises seven skincare benefits within four weeks, including smoothing fine lines and wrinkles, improving hydration, enhancing texture, and minimizing pores.

Television presenter Emma Willis has been unveiled as the new face of the Formula brand. She expressed her approval of the range, highlighting its practical approach to skincare. "What I love about this range is that it doesn't overcomplicate skincare," Willis stated. She described the products as "skincare you don't need a PhD for," emphasizing their straightforward effectiveness.

Beyond the serum, the Ultra Peptide collection includes a £20 eye cream, £27 day and night moisturisers, and a £22 Neck & Decolletage cream. The brand also offers complementary products such as micellar water, cleansing balm, and exfoliating toner, which contain ingredients like Vitamin C and hyaluronic acid.

This launch follows M&S's introduction of a children's skincare line, Fresh Elements, earlier in the year. That range, designed for teenagers, features dermatologically-tested products costing no more than £12.50 each. M&S described Fresh Elements as an "innovative new line-up of skincare created specifically to meet the needs of young, delicate and changing skin," emphasizing simple ingredients and age-appropriate formulations aimed at building healthy skincare habits.
