Lucky Saint Beer Recalled Over Exploding Can Risk
The low-alcohol beer brand is recalling specific batches of its Hazy IPA due to over-pressurization fears.
Lucky Saint is recalling batches of its 0.5 percent Hazy IPA, sold in 330ml four-packs, with a best-before date of August 13, 2027. The Food Standards Agency (FSA) issued a notice stating that some cans may have been over-pressurized and could explode, posing a risk of physical injury.
The beer brand warned consumers not to open or drink the affected beer. Customers are advised not to return the cans to the store. Instead, they should provide proof of purchase for a full refund and safely dispose of the product. Point-of-sale notices suggest handling the cans minimally, placing them upright in a sealed bag, and then disposing of them with household waste.

The FSA stated that recalls are issued when a product poses a risk to consumers. Lucky Saint has not disclosed the cause of the over-pressurization, but the FSA confirmed the risk of cans rupturing unexpectedly.
