Kate Moss Agency Reports First-Ever Loss of £1.8 Million

The Kate Moss Agency has reported its first-ever annual loss, with accounts showing a downturn of £1.8 million for the year ending last July. The company, founded by the supermodel in 2014, saw its retained earnings fall to £3.3 million from £5.1 million. This marks a significant shift for the business, which had previously seen annual increases in its net worth.

The agency, which represents Moss and her daughter Lila, was reportedly established because the supermodel was seeking to avoid paying substantial commissions to external agents. Newly published accounts confirm a seven-figure drop in the company's fortunes, equivalent to a weekly loss of approximately £35,000.

Lila Moss, managed by her mother's agency, has gained prominence in the fashion industry. She made her runway debut in 2020 and has since appeared in campaigns for luxury brands such as Gucci, Fendi, Marc Jacobs Beauty, and YSL Beauty.

In parallel, there are reports that Kate Moss is being considered for a Netflix docuseries, following similar profiles of figures like Victoria Beckham and Kylie Minogue. A production company is said to be developing a project about the supermodel, potentially timed around the 35th anniversary of her iconic 1992 Calvin Klein campaign. Insiders suggest Moss might be open to discussing her life and career in a way she has not done previously, which could lead to significant interest from streaming platforms. This follows her appearance in the 2024 Apple TV documentary "In Vogue: The 90s."
