Gabe Brown Separates from Wife Raquell Rose After Seven Years

Gabe Brown, a star of the reality television series "Alaskan Bush People," has separated from his wife, Raquell Rose, after seven years of marriage. The split reportedly occurred last spring, according to TMZ.

Brown, 35, is the fourth son of the late Billy Brown, the show's patriarch, and matriarch Ami Brown. The couple began dating on Valentine's Day in 2018, introduced by Gabe's sister, Rain. They married in two ceremonies in 2019. Their first was a private legal ceremony officiated by Gabe's brother Noah, followed by a larger outdoor ceremony with family and friends that was featured on the show.

Sources cited financial difficulties and disputes over Gabe Brown's other interests as contributing factors to the marital friction. Raquell Rose reportedly grew frustrated with what she perceived as Gabe's emotional detachment and his prioritization of other family members over her and their three children.

"Alaskan Bush People" chronicled the Brown family's efforts to live off the grid in remote wilderness, featuring challenges such as hunting, fishing, and constructing shelters. The series concluded in 2022, less than two years after Billy Brown's death in 2021 at age 68.

The news of Gabe Brown's separation follows the death of his older brother, Matt Brown, who passed away in May at age 43. Matt Brown was found in Washington's Okanogan River three days after he was reported missing. His brother Bear Brown suggested the death was self-inflicted, noting a wound on his body. Gabe Brown had spoken about the loss of Matt, expressing a wish for his brother to return to his former joyful self and reminiscing about their shared positive memories.
