California Restaurant Challenges Diners to Conquer 80-Piece Sushi Boat
Sake2Me AYCE Sushi in Chino offers a free meal and a spot on the Wall of Fame to anyone who can finish the massive sushi platter within 30 minutes.
A Southern California sushi restaurant has introduced a substantial eating challenge that dares patrons to consume 80 pieces of sushi in just 30 minutes. Sake2Me AYCE Sushi in Chino offers this colossal meal, valued at over $140, for an entry fee of $115. The challenge is available from Monday through Thursday.
If a diner successfully finishes all 80 pieces within the time limit, the meal is provided free of charge. Winners also receive a complimentary all-you-can-eat pass and a place on the restaurant's Wall of Fame. Those who do not complete the challenge are permitted to take their leftovers home.
Competitive eater Raina Huang, known online as @RAINAISCRAZY, recently tackled the challenge, completing the 80 pieces in 15 minutes and 37 seconds. Huang shared that hot tea can aid in consuming the rice and noted that the deep-fried rolls presented the most difficulty.

The restaurant promoted the challenge on Instagram, inviting followers to tag friends they believed could conquer the feat. The promotion has drawn attention on social media, with some users expressing concern about mercury poisoning.
The challenge does not have an announced end date and is expected to be a recurring attraction at the Chino location. For Sake2Me, a chain known for its all-you-can-eat sushi and lively atmosphere, the promotion serves as a marketing strategy to attract customers and generate viral interest.
