Beyoncé Launches Cécred Haircare Line in London

Beyoncé graced London with her presence on Monday for the United Kingdom launch of her haircare brand, Cécred, hosted at a Space NK store. The singer arrived in a striking white corset dress to mark the occasion, which follows the brand's successful introduction in the United States.

Cécred, co-owned by Beyoncé and her mother, Tina Knowles, aims to bring high-performance hair care products to a global audience. The UK launch represents the brand's first international expansion. Products available include Restoring Hair and Edge Drops priced at £53, Oud Hair Perfume for £51, and nourishing hair oil ranging from £21 to £42.

Grace Ray, CEO at Cécred, highlighted the significance of the UK market, calling it the brand's second-largest following the US. She stated that the expansion is a testament to the connection built with the community and the growing demand for transformative hair care. Ray also noted that partnering with Space NK, a retailer that aligns with Cécred's vision for innovation, is a milestone in the brand's global growth.

Tina Knowles emphasized the brand's commitment to inclusivity and accessibility, drawing from her extensive career as a stylist and salon owner. "Inclusivity and accessibility are at the heart of our brand and we are so happy to bring this approach to the UK with Space NK, introducing even more people to the rituals and innovations that make Cécred so exceptional," she said.

Beyoncé's appearance in London coincided with her mother's promotional tour for her memoir, "Matriarch." Tina Knowles appeared on the television show "This Morning" to discuss her book, her family, and her personal health journey. She shared an anecdote about a dangerous moment during one of Beyoncé's performances where a flying prop car tilted precariously mid-air, prompting Tina to rush to her daughter's aid. "She drives me crazy. Stop flying," Tina recalled telling her daughter.

Furthermore, Tina Knowles spoke about her own recent battle with stage one breast cancer, diagnosed in July 2024. She attributed her diagnosis to missing a routine mammogram due to the COVID-19 pandemic and urged other women to prioritize their health screenings. "As women, we nurture everyone else and take care of them and I missed my mammogram because of Covid. I thought I had it... If I had gone earlier, I would have had stage zero. And if I had gone later, I would have had stage four. It's the gift of God that I finally went and had the time," she stated. She stressed the importance of self-care, noting, "Not making yourselves a priority, your kids can lose you, you're not even around for them, so it's really important."
