Bernie Ecclestone Lists London Penthouse for $50 Million
The former Formula 1 boss is selling his 11-story Knightsbridge property, which also served as his company's headquarters.
Bernie Ecclestone, the former chief executive of Formula 1 Group, has put his Knightsbridge property in London up for sale with a price tag of £50 million (approximately $50 million USD).
The 11-story, glass-fronted building in Hyde Park served as both Ecclestone's London residence and his Formula 1 headquarters. The property features a four-bedroom penthouse occupying the top four floors, offering views across Hyde Park. Staff quarters are located on the lower ground floor, with offices situated on the first through fifth floors. Ecclestone, 95, has a reported fortune of around £3 billion.
The sale of the property may signal a shift in the couple's living arrangements. Ecclestone and his wife, Fabiana Flosi, welcomed a son, Ace, in 2020. Reports suggest the couple intends to spend more time in Portugal, where Flosi has reportedly purchased a £35 million estate overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
Ecclestone, the son of a Suffolk trawlerman, rose to prominence in the world of motorsport. He acquired the Knightsbridge property after parting ways with his second wife, model Slavica Radić, with whom he has two daughters, Tamara and Petra.
While Ecclestone has declined to comment on the sale, the building is currently vacant. The property is described as a potential 'bargain' for any billionaire seeking a combined residence and workspace. Ecclestone is also a great-grandfather through his daughter Deborah, his child from his first marriage to Ivy.
