Bath & Body Works Releases Affordable Dupe Perfumes of Popular Luxury Scents
The brand's 'Everyday Luxuries' collection now features eight scents inspired by high-end fragrances, with some available for under $20.
Bath & Body Works has expanded its "Everyday Luxuries" fragrance line with eight new and returning scents that mimic popular high-end perfumes. The collection, which includes fragrance mists, body creams, and rollerballs, offers consumers a more affordable way to experience designer scents.
The full-size fragrance mists are priced at $18.95, a fraction of the cost of their luxury counterparts. The brand is also currently offering a buy three, get one free deal on body mists, and lotions in the Everyday Luxuries line are discounted to $4.95. The collection also features new, updated packaging.
New additions to the collection include "Orchid Effect," described as a dupe for Gucci's Flora Gorgeous Orchid, and "Worth Wanting," inspired by I Want Choo by Jimmy Choo. "Trace of Blue" is positioned as an alternative to Dolce & Gabbana's Light Blue, while "Midnight Addiction" aims to replicate Yves Saint Laurent's Black Opium. "Amber Era" is inspired by Montale's Arabians Tonka, and "Pink Obsessed" is a nod to Valentino's Donna Born in Roma.
Two scents, "Covered In Roses" and "Viva Vanilla," were previously part of the Everyday Luxuries line. "Covered In Roses," a dupe for Parfums de Marly's Delina, has since been expanded into a full product line. "Viva Vanilla," inspired by Snif's Vanilla Vice, offers a gourmand fragrance profile with notes of vanilla and fruit.
Each fragrance mist is designed to offer a similar scent profile to its luxury inspiration. For example, "Orchid Effect" features notes of whipped vanilla, vanilla orchids, and fresh woods, mirroring the vanilla duo, vanilla orchid, and ozonic accord in Flora Gorgeous Orchid. Similarly, "Midnight Addiction" combines ripe plum, almond flower, and coffee bean, echoing the black coffee, white flowers, and vanilla notes of Black Opium.
The "Everyday Luxuries" collection also includes body creams and mini rollerball perfumes for most of the scents, allowing consumers to layer their fragrance or choose their preferred application method. The body creams retail for $17.95, and the mini rollerballs are priced at $13.95, with some exceptions like "Covered In Roses," which has a slightly higher price point for its body cream and mini eau de parfum.
